Cedar planter box
A square cedar planter, about 19 inches across and 21 inches tall. Four corner posts and rails make the frame, slats close in the sides, and four cap boards run around the top in a pinwheel. The floor boards sit on cleats with gaps between them so water can drain.
It goes together with screws and pocket holes only, so it makes a good first outdoor project. The skill it teaches is cutting many parts to the same length and spacing them evenly.
Open it to change the size: the overall width, depth and height are named dimensions, and the parts follow them.

Opening asks first and saves the project you have open to your Project shelf. The copy you open is yours to change; this listing stays as it is.
Check the dimensions before cutting anything — you did not make this project.
