Side table with a drawer
GrainDraft's own starter project: a small side table with a drawer and a lower shelf. The legs and rails meet in mortise and tenon joints, the drawer is a box-jointed box with a grooved-in bottom, and the shelf rests in rabbets cut into the lower rails.
It is the best project to explore first, because every size is a named dimension. Change the overall width or height and watch the legs, rails and drawer follow. As a build it is a step up from a first project: there are fourteen mortise and tenon joints to cut and a drawer to fit.
The top is not joined to the frame in the model, so how you fasten it is your decision.
GrainDraft is meant for a computer or tablet. Open it here, or send yourself this page and open the project on a computer.
Opening asks first and saves the project you have open to your Project shelf. The copy you open is yours to change; this listing stays as it is.
Check the dimensions before cutting anything — you did not make this project.
