L-shaped desk with three drawers

Advanced
L-shaped desk with three drawers: the GrainDraft model, seen from the front and one side.
The GrainDraft model, not a photograph of a finished piece.

An L-shaped oak desk, 72 by 60 inches: a main top on four legs, and a return that rests on a cabinet with three drawers. The main top has a cable slot and a round cable hole.

The legs and aprons are joined with mortise and tenon joints and the cabinet with dados. Each drawer is a box-jointed box with a separate face screwed to its front. With six kinds of joint it is a long build that rewards patience.

Open it to see how the cabinet carries the return and how the drawers fit their openings.
